1. Direct Recruitment (90%) –
Qualification & Eligibility –
1.Senior Secondary or its equivalent
2.G.N.M. course or its equivalent qualification from institute recognized by Government and
3.registered in Rajasthan Nursing Council as A Grade Nurse
2. Departmental Promotion (10%) –
Qualification & Eligibility – 1. G.N.M. course or its equivalent qualification from institute recognized by Government and
2. Registered in RNC
3. As regards criteria for promotion, the persons who have trained earlier shall be given preference and in case the year of training is same then the length of service shall be given preference.
4. If suitable departmental employees are not available for promotion such posts shall be filled in by direct recruitment.
Senior Nursing Officer (SNO)

2.Health Supervisor (Block)(Female) with Diploma in Public Health Nurse from a recognized Institution and 3 years‘ Service thereafter.
2. Departmental Promotion (50%) –
Qualification & Eligibility –
5 years‘ service as a Block Health Supervisor (Female)
Nursing Tutor
Method of Recruitment
1. Direct Recruitment (50%) –
Qualification & Eligibility –
1.Senior Secondary or its equivalent
2.B.Sc. Nursing or its equivalent qualification from institute, recognized by State Government and
3.registered in Rajasthan Nursing Council as A Grade Nurse
2. Departmental Promotion (50% – 25% from PHN and 25% from Nursing Officer) –
Qualification & Eligibility –
5 years‘ experience on the post of PHN or Nursing Officer
If suitable public Health Nurse is not available for promotion, post of Nursing Tutor may be filled from Nursing Officer
