In a long-awaited move, the Rajasthan Directorate of Medical, Health & Family Welfare Services has officially released the posting allotments for candidates selected for the post of Nursing Officer (Non-Scheduled Area) whose appointments were previously under hold.
According to Order No. RAJHEALTH/2025/93 dated 15.05.2025, eligible candidates have now been assigned postings based on the selection lists issued under advertisement numbers 4402 (25.04.2023) and 4649 (05.05.2023). This major update finally sets the stage for candidates to join their duties — subject to satisfying all required conditions.
📢 Important Highlights:
- Post Allotted: Nursing Officer (Non-Scheduled Area) under Rajasthan Medical and Health Subordinate Service Rules, 1965.
- Remuneration: ₹26,500 per month fixed during the 2-year probation in Pay Level L-11. Regular pay and allowances will follow upon successful probation.
- Joining Deadline: Candidates must report to their assigned authorities on or before May 27, 2025.
- Reporting Platform: Online submission via RajHealth Portal along with physical reporting to the concerned control officer.

📝 Key Instructions for Candidates:
- Report to the assigned location with all original documents, including:
- Educational & technical qualification certificates
- Valid Nursing Council registration
- Medical fitness certificate
- Police verification certificate
- Caste/EWS certificates (if applicable)
- Two-child declaration must be submitted, as candidates with more than two living children born on or after 01.06.2002 are ineligible (with limited relaxation).
- Document Verification: Control officers must ensure all submitted certificates are genuine and match selection data. Any falsification may lead to cancellation and legal action.
- Registration Requirement: Candidate must have a valid registration in the Rajasthan Nursing Council as of the date of appointment.
- Probationary Conditions Apply: All appointments are subject to successful completion of the probation period and final validation of documents.
- Special Cases (Widows, Divorcees, PH candidates) must present appropriate legal documentation at the time of joining.
“All selected candidates are instructed to join at their allotted post only after complete document verification and approval by the controlling officer,” the order reads.

Candidates failing to report by the deadline (May 27, 2025) or submitting incomplete/incorrect documentation may face automatic cancellation of their appointment.
Additionally, joining and seniority are subject to court orders pending in various High Court petitions, including DB Civil Writ Petitions 5980/2022, 1867/2023, and 15213/2024.
