Barrier Contraceptive Methods

Condoms - Prevents pregnancy & STIs. - "Nirodh" is available for free. Intrauterine Contraceptive Device (IUCD) - Copper-based IUDs. - Cu 375 – Effective for 5 years. - Cu 380A – Effective for 10 years.

Permanent Contraceptive Methods

Female Sterilization - Minilaparotomy – Small incision to block fallopian tubes. - Laparoscopic Sterilization – Camera-assisted tube blockage. Male Sterilization - Small incision to block sperm-carrying tubes. - NSV (No-Scalpel Vasectomy) is a common technique.

Emergency Contraceptive Pill (Ezy-Pill)

- Take within 72 hours of unprotected intercourse. - Not a regular birth control method.
