Through the scheme, medicines listed in the essential medicine list are provided free of charge to all inpatients and outpatients visiting government hospitals.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
This initiative was launched by the Rajasthan government on October 2, 2011. As part of the scheme, 40 district medicine stores have been established at district headquarters to ensure the distribution of medicines across all medical institutions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
